Shipping Policy

Every order we handle at Ameck Business House crosses international boundaries. This policy explains how shipping works, what to expect, and what happens when things outside our control cause delays.

Every Order is Custom

We do not have fixed shipping timelines. Each order involves a unique product, a specific supplier, a particular destination, and a distinct set of documentation and compliance requirements.

Before you make any payment, we will discuss and agree on the estimated shipping timeline with you as part of your quote. That agreed timeline forms part of your order terms. By making payment against the quote, you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted the shipping timeline stated within it.

Shipping Modes

Depending on your order, goods may be shipped via one of the following modes. The mode applicable to your order will be specified in your quote.

Sea Freight
Suitable for bulk and heavy orders. Most cost-effective for large volumes. Transit time will be confirmed in your quote.
Air Freight
Suitable for time-sensitive or lighter shipments. Faster than sea freight. Transit time will be confirmed in your quote.
Express Courier
Used for documents, samples, or small shipments via partners such as DHL or FedEx. Subject to courier customs clearance processes. Transit time will be confirmed in your quote.

Customs and Compliance

All our shipments cross international borders and are subject to customs clearance in both the country of origin and India. We handle all documentation and due diligence on your behalf, including:

  • Bill of Entry filing via ICEGATE (India's customs EDI system)
  • Commercial invoice, packing list, and Bill of Lading or Airway Bill
  • Certificate of Origin where required
  • IEC (Import Export Code) compliance
  • IGST and customs duty assessment and payment
  • KYC documentation as mandated by Indian Customs
  • Any product-specific certifications or licences required

We complete all due diligence carefully so your shipment clears without issue. Occasionally, customs authorities may request additional documentation, conduct a physical inspection, or place a hold for assessment. These are standard procedures that occur across all international trade and are outside our control.

Customs Delays

While customs delays are rare for us given our experience and thorough documentation, they do occasionally happen. Reasons may include random physical inspections by customs officers, additional document requests, peak season congestion at ports, or regulatory changes.

If customs causes a delay
We will inform you promptly, provide regular updates, and work to resolve it as quickly as possible. We kindly ask for your patience during such times. These situations are uncommon in our experience and are always temporary.
No refunds for in-transit delays
If your order is in transit and facing a delay due to customs processing, documentation review, or any international compliance requirement, refunds are not available during this period. Your shipment is actively being worked on.

Our Delivery Guarantee

We stand behind every order we take on. Our commitment to you is straightforward:

If your order is delivered
We will ensure it arrives as described in your quote, with all documentation in order. Any shortfall in quantity or product specification will be addressed by us directly.
If your order is never delivered
In the rare event that an order cannot be delivered at all due to reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund. We will not retain payment for goods that never arrive.
While your order is in transit
No refund is available while an order is actively in transit, clearing customs, or undergoing compliance checks. This includes delays at ports, customs holds, and documentation reviews. We will keep you updated throughout.

Tracking and Updates

Once your order is shipped, we will provide you with tracking details and keep you updated at key milestones including dispatch, arrival at the destination port, customs clearance, and final delivery. If there is any change in the expected timeline, we will inform you proactively.

Shipping Costs and Duties

Shipping costs, customs duties, IGST, and any applicable port or handling charges will be clearly outlined in your quote before payment. No additional shipping charges will be applied after you have paid unless a specific change to your order requires it, in which case we will inform you and seek your approval first.

Agreement to Shipping Terms

The shipping timeline, mode, costs, and applicable terms are included in every quote we provide. Payment against a quote constitutes your acceptance of the shipping terms stated within it, as well as this Shipping Policy in full.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
